It was time for Christmas shopping and Ikea Centres wanted to give customers a special experience. Our solution? A fragrance born in the kitchen from the collaboration between a perfumer and a chef. “Pain d’épices” warms up the environment, creating a festive and homey atmosphere, which reminds everyone a bit of their childhood. It is Christmas in Northern Europe. Ikea Centres are modern shopping centres characterized by spacious Ikea stores and large common areas. To outfit them, Integra Fragrances has created 3 seasonal fragrances: autumn / winter, spring / summer and a Christmas fragrance, strongly evocative of the famous Swedish brand. In “Pain d’épices”, the softness of bread rich in cinnamon, ginger, honey and vanilla is told in every ingredient. Behind these nostalgic childhood memories lies a technological heart. To achieve “Pain d’épices”, a highly innovative extraction method was used in which olfactory components emanate directly from the ingredients of the recipe in the hands of the chef.
