INSIDE – POP – PERFUME: Warhol’s age told through scent.
On March 13, 2025, the Gallerie d’Italia in Naples set the stage for the sensory event “#INSIDE - POP-PERFUME: The Age of Warhol Told Through Scent”, organized by Integra Fragrances. This immersive experience explored the deep connection between Naples and Andy Warhol, a visionary artist who transformed the ordinary into an icon—just as perfume has the power to evoke memories and emotions.
Our team guided visitors on a captivating olfactory journey, retracing the fragrances that shaped post-war culture and society. Among them were the perfumes worn by the stars immortalized in the exhibited artworks: from the legendary Chanel N°5 to the distinctive Brut by Fabergé, both symbols of an era where image and fragrance merged to create timeless icons.
Adding to the event’s immersive nature was the presence of Monica Del Vecchio, Area Manager of Carthusia, a historic artisanal perfumery brand deeply tied to the region, particularly the island of Capri. Furthermore, Luca Maffei, CEO & Perfumer of Atelier Fragranze Milano, unveiled the creative process behind two of Carthusia’s most iconic fragrances, “Terra Mia” and “A’mmare”, both crafted by him. His engaging storytelling transported guests into the true essence of Capri—a magical island where land and sea harmoniously blend.
The event turned into a true multisensory experience, enhanced by the diffusion of “Terra Mia” fragrance through our innovative technology. This detail intensified the connection between scent, memory, and place, leaving an unforgettable impression on all attendees.
