Integra Retail was born in Reggio Emilia from an idea by Lorenzo Cotti; the company designs formats for retail and takes the first steps towards olfactory diffusion in the sportswear and automotive sectors. The brands that believe in the communicative power of scent are still few and technologies are still at the prehistoric level.
The company focuses its business on the development of olfactory identities and expands the application to new sectors: Integra Fragrances is born. From fashion to luxury, more and more brands rely on Integra to create their own olfactory signature and offer refined and unique shopping experiences.
Integra Fragrances is equipped with the first remote-controlled device to scent ducted environments. Establishes a technical engineering department and a worldwide service and maintenance network.
The company opens an office in Hong Kong to technically oversee the APAC Region.
The complementary service of product development is established. For customers who intend to translate their olfactory signature into a tangible finished product, Integra Fragrances designs exclusive packaging, procures components, produces, assembles and packages.
Integra Fragrances updates its image and launches a new logo and website. To offer a sensory experience that dispenses with physical shopping, the company develops a range of solutions to scent e-commerce boxes.
With the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, Integra Fragrances redesigns and patents its technology, which can thus be used both to scent and to sanitise the environments in which it is installed from viruses and bacteria.
Integra Fragrances becomes a Benefit Company. The company makes social and environmental sustainability explicit in its corporate by-laws as an asset of fundamental importance and commitment to the future.
Integra Fragrances' service evolves towards complete management of air quality: in indoor environments, scent is a tool for communication and branding, and maintaining air quality ensures health and helps reduce energy waste. At the CNR headquarters in Rome, Integra Fragrances receives the National Innovation Award, from the President of the Italian Republic and awarded by the COTEC Foundation to the 45 most innovative companies that stand out to change our country for the better.
The new Milan office opens for Integra Fragrances, in the heart of the Milanese capital.
